Use this path when you are setting up a new workspace or explaining TextMine to a new user.

1. Choose the right surface

  • Use Vault when the task starts with documents.
  • Use Legislate when the task is about validated documents already published from Vault.
  • Use Workbench when the task is exploratory or spans several tools.
  • Use Workflows when the task should be repeatable or triggered automatically.
  • Use Playbooks when the task is a reusable document review.
  • Use Records when the outcome should become structured business data.
  • Use Scribe when the outcome is a generated document or template.

2. Add documents to Vault

Upload documents into the relevant Vault, choose or confirm document types, then review extracted fields and tags once processing finishes.

3. Ask or automate

Use Ask Vault or Workbench for one-off analysis. Use Workflows for repeatable actions such as importing files, applying playbooks, updating records, sending emails, requesting approvals, or generating reports.

4. Turn useful outputs into durable assets

Save recurring instructions as workflows, playbooks, agents, record schemas, or Scribe templates so the same process can be repeated consistently. Publish validated documents from Vault to Legislate when they should become part of the team-document archive.
