Use Knowledge Bases overview when a team needs a reusable collection of uploaded files, Vault documents, Legislate documents, or business records. Knowledge Bases support folders, member access, source profiles, reusable tags, feedback fields, grounded Q&A, generated artifacts, and reports.

Use Records overview when answers need to become structured, reviewable business records. Use Schemas and review candidates to define record fields and review proposed updates.
